Transportation
The most convenient way to reach Grünberg is by taking the Grünbergseilbahn (cable car) from Gmunden. The cable car station is located near the Traunsee lake in Gmunden. You can easily reach the cable car station by bus from the Gmunden train station. Take bus number 501 towards Traunkirchen and get off at the 'Gmunden Kuferzeile' stop, which is a short walk from the cable car station.
