Transportation
Access to Iron Range National Park is primarily by 4WD vehicle. The park is located approximately 200km north of Lockhart River and 100km south of Portland Roads. The Peninsula Development Road (PDR) provides access to the general area, but unsealed roads within the park require a high-clearance 4WD. Alternatively, you can fly into Lockhart River Airport (KRB) and arrange for a 4WD transfer to the park. Be sure to check road conditions and obtain necessary permits before entering the park.
