Transportation
The Little Sandhills are accessible by 4WD vehicle only. You can either bring your own 4WD vehicle on the ferry to Moreton Island or join a guided tour that includes transportation. The ferry departs from Brisbane. Once on the island, follow the designated 4WD tracks to the Little Sandhills. Be sure to check tide times and track conditions before setting out.
