The only way to get to Moreton Island is by ferry or barge. Several companies operate services from Brisbane, including the Micat Ferry and Tangalooma Flyer. The Micat Ferry departs from the Port of Brisbane and transports vehicles and passengers. The Tangalooma Flyer is a passenger-only ferry that departs from Holt Street Wharf, Pinkenba. Booking in advance is highly recommended, especially during peak season.
