Transportation
Douglas-Apsley National Park is located inland from Bicheno. Driving is the most convenient way to reach the park. From Bicheno, follow the Tasman Highway (A3) inland. Turn onto the unsealed Apsley Road to access the park's main entrance. Be aware that Apsley Road can be rough and may require a four-wheel-drive vehicle in wet conditions. There is no public transport to the park entrance.
