Transportation
From Tilcara's main square, you can take a taxi or remÃs (private car) to the entrance of the Quebrada de Sarahuaica. Alternatively, you can walk, which takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Follow the road heading south out of town, and look for signs indicating the entrance to the gorge. Be aware that the road can be dusty and uneven in places.
