The lake and its surrounding area are protected as a natural park, ensuring the preservation of its unique ecosystem. There are numerous activities to enjoy at Engolasters Lake. Hiking trails of varying difficulty levels wind around the lake and into the surrounding mountains, offering stunning panoramic views. You can also rent paddle boats or kayaks to explore the lake from the water. The area is popular for picnics, and there are several restaurants and cafes nearby where you can enjoy a meal with a view. While not directly related to the lake, the nearby village of Encamp offers traditional Andorran cuisine.
